Whole Wheat Waffle Ingredients

- ½ tsp salt
- 2 cups buttermilk (2 cups milk + 2 tablespoons vinegar)
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 4 eggs

Instructions
- In a medium to large bowl, combine freshly milled whole wheat flour, baking powder, and salt.

- In a stand mixing bowl, or with an electric mixer, whisk egg white until stiff. Fold in egg yolks until combined.
- 4 egg whites, 4 egg yolks

- Mix buttermilk and brown sugar into your dry ingredients. Once mixed, thoroughly combine those ingredients with your eggs, and whisk.
- 2 cups buttermilk (2 cups milk + 2 tablespoons vinegar), 1/4 cup brown sugar

- Add 3/4 cup of batter into hot waffle iron. Bake. Add syrup, honey, or homemade fruit syrup as a topping.
