PIZZA POCKET INGREDIENTS
Pizza Dough
- 1.5 cups warm water
- 2.5 teaspoons yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups flour
Vegetable Sauce / Filling (diced)
- Mushrooms
- Onion (yellow, white, or red)
- Green onion
- Jalapeno
- Minced garlic cloves
- Tomatoes
- Avocado oil (2 tablespoons)

INSTRUCTIONS
- In a stand mixing bowl, combine yeast, sugar, and water.
- 2.5 teaspoons yeast, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1.5 cup warm water
- Once the yeast activates and is bubbly (roughly 5 minutes), add the oil, salt, and flour.
- 3 tablespoons oil, 1 teaspoon salt, 4 cups flour
- Allow the dough to mix for 15 minutes, or until smooth.
- Shape the dough into a ball, and place back into the mixing bowl. Cover with a damp towel.
- Allow dough to rise for 1-2 hours, or until it has doubled in size.
- Remove dough from bowl, releasing the air and reshaping.
- Heat oil on the stove to 340 degrees F.
- Divide dough into 8-10 smaller circles.
- Fill the circular dough with any pizza toppings you like. Close the dough by folding one side over the other, and pinching the end.
- Cook the pizza pocket in the oil (roughly 1-2 minutes per side). Once one side is golden brown, flip the pocket oil to cook the other side.
- Remove the pizza pocket and allow 5 minutes to cool. Dip with sauce of choice and enjoy!
