Easy to make homemade Stromboli, made with homemade pizza dough. A delicious, yet customizable from scratch that your family loves!

HOMEMADE STROMBOLI INGREDIENTS
PIZZA DOUGH INGREDIENTS
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup olive oil (+ 1 teaspoon for topping each Stromboli)
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 cup room temperature water
- 3-3.5 cups unbleached all-purpose flour

FILLING INGREDIENTS
- Salome / Canadian Bacon / Ham / Turkey / Lunch Meat
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Tomatoes
- Lettuce / Spinach
- Onion
- Peppers

HOMEMADE STROMBOLI INSTRUCTIONS
- In a small bowl, stir together the yeast, sugar, and warm water. Let sit roughly 5 minutes, or until it becomes foamy.
- 2 tsp yeast, 1/2 tsp sugar, 1/4 cup warm water
- Add flour to a mixing bowl, along with salt. Mix the two together slowly until combined.
- Add oil, room temperature water, and yeast mixer to the flour mixture. Mix on medium speed until the ingredient creates a dough.
- 1/4 cup oil, 1 cup water
- Slowly add flour until slightly sticky.
- Shape dough into a ball, and place back into the mixing bowl. Coat the mixing bowl with either flour or oil to prevent the dough from sticking.
- Allow the dough to rise for an hour (or until doubled in size).
- Place cast iron pizza stone in the oven until it reaches 450 degrees F.
- While the cast iron is heating, push down the dough to release the gas bubbles, and shape it into a ball. Cut ball into 4 sections.
- Roll each of the 4 sections into balls. Lay flour out on a piece of parchment paper, and roll the dough out using a rolling pin.
- Brush olive oil over crust. Sprinkle garlic salt lightly on top of the oiled dough.
- Add desired filling ingredients to one half of the mini pizza dough circle. Once filled, fold the dough over the fillings. You do NOT have to press the edges down to close. Sprinkle oil and salt on top.
- Remove the cast iron, and place the parchment paper with Stromboli carefully on top of it. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
