Scripture Inspired Home Built on Faith, Wisdom, & Blessings
1. Scripture Inspired Faith
Joshua 24:15
If it is displeasing to you to serve the Lord, choose today whom you will serve, the gods your ancestors served beyond the River or the gods of the Amorites in whose country you are dwelling. As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”
Proverbs 3:33
The curse of the Lord is on the house of the wicked,
but the dwelling of the just he blesses;
2 Corinthians 5:1-10
1 For we know that if our earthly dwelling, a tent, should be destroyed, we have a building from God, a dwelling not made with hands, eternal in heaven. 2 For in this tent we groan, longing to be further clothed with our heavenly habitation 3 if indeed, when we have taken it off, we shall not be found naked. 4 For while we are in this tent we groan and are weighed down, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. 5 Now the one who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a first installment.
Hebrews 3:4
Every house is founded by someone, but the founder of all is God.
Isaiah 28:16
Therefore, thus says the Lord God:
See, I am laying a stone in Zion,
a stone that has been tested,
A precious cornerstone as a sure foundation;
whoever puts faith in it will not waver.
Matthew 7:25
The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and buffeted the house. But it did not collapse; it had been set solidly on rock.
Matthew 12:27
But he knew what they were thinking and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be laid waste, and no town or house divided against itself will stand.
John 14:1-2
1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?
Deuteronomy 6:5-7
5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. 6 Keep these words that I am commanding you today in your heart. 7 Recite them to your children and talk about them when you are at home and when you are away, when you lie down and when you rise.

2. Scripture Inspired Wisdom
Proverbs 24:3-4
3 By wisdom a house is built,
by understanding it is established;
4 And by knowledge its rooms are filled
with every precious and pleasing possession.
Proverbs 14:1
The wise woman builds her house,
but the foolish tears it down with her own hands.
Proverbs 24:27
Prepare your work outside,
get everything ready for you in the field;
and after that build your house.
Psalms 127:1
Unless the Lord builds the house,
those who build it labor in vain.
Unless the Lord guards the city,
the guard keeps watch in vain.
Psalm 91:1-2
1You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,
2 will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.”
Isaiah 65:21-22
21 They shall build houses and inhabit them;
they shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
22 They shall not build and another inhabit;
they shall not plant and another eat;
for like the days of a tree shall the days of my people be,
and my chosen shall long enjoy the work of their hands.

3. Scripture Inspired Blessings
Isaiah 32:18
My people will live in peaceful country,
in secure dwellings and quiet resting places.
2 Samuel 7:29
…now therefore may it please you to bless the house of your servant, so that it may continue forever before you; for you, O Lord God, have spoken, and with your blessing shall the house of your servant be blessed forever.
Luke 10:5
Into whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace to this household.’
Hebrews 13:2
Do not neglect hospitality, for through it some have unknowingly entertained angels.
Psalm 127:3-5
3 Certainly sons are a gift from the Lord,
the fruit of the womb, a reward.
4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior
are the sons born in one’s youth.
5 Blessed is the man who has filled his quiver with them.
He will never be shamed
for he will destroy his foes at the gate.
