Use your faith to strengthen your hope in the Lord. Our world is full of heartache and pain, may you use your faith to radiate pure joy through the strengthened hope you have in Christ. May others see and feel that hope, and become uplifted in their hearts, and brought to the faith.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. In his great mercy he has given us a new birth to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. 1 Peter 1:3
Scripture to Strengthen Your Hope
The Bible reminds us that we will face trials and tribulation throughout our lives. Deciding to follow Jesus doesn’t give us a “happy go lucky” life. No. As Christians, we will be faced with hate, persecution, worldly struggles, and suffering. All of the pain we face here on earth, can lead us to lose hope. We must turn back to God, and use our faith to bring our hope and trust back in the Lord.
Let us turn now to Scripture, to be inspired and reminded that God IS WITH US. He is very present, right now. Open your heart and mind to hearing the Word of God, and allowing it to transform your life.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know full well the plans I have for you, plans for your welfare and not for your misfortune, plans that will offer you a future filled with hope.
Romans 5:5
Such hope will not be doomed to disappointment, because the love of God has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.
Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified of them, for the Lord, your God, is going forth with you. He will never leave you or abandon you.
Romans 12:12
Be joyful in your hope. Be patient in times of affliction. Persevere in prayer.
Proverbs 23:18
There truly is a future for you, and your hope will not be cut short.
Romans 8:24-25
For in hope we were saved. Now to see something does not involve hope. For why should we hope for what we have already seen? But if we hope for what we do not yet see, then we wait for it with patience.
Proverbs 24:14
In much the same manner will wisdom be sweet to your soul. If you find it, you will have a future, and your hope will not be cut off.
Romans 15:4
For everything that was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that by perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures, we may continue to have hope.
Psalm 9:19
But the needy will not be forgotten forever, nor will the hope of the afflicted ever come to naught.
Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may grow rich in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Psalm 119:114
You are my refuge and my shield; I put my hope in your word.
Psalm 39:8
So now, O Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in you.
Isaiah 40:31
Those who place their hope in the Lord will regain their strength. They will soar as with eagles’ wings, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not become faint.
Colossians 1:27
To these God chose to make known how rich is the priceless glory that this mystery brings to the Gentiles—Christ in you, your hope of glory.
1 Corinthians 13:13
Thus there are three things that endure: faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is love.
Hebrews 10:23
Let us remain firm in the confession of our hope without wavering, for the one who made the promise is trustworthy.
Ephesians 1:18
I further pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you may know the hope to which he has called you, how rich and glorious is his inheritance in the saints…
Revelation 21:4
He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will no longer be death. Neither will there be any mourning or crying or pain, for the old order has passed away.”
Lamentations 3:24
The Lord is my portion, I say to myself; therefore, I will place my hope in him.
1 Peter 3:15
Always be prepared to offer an explanation to anyone who asks you to justify the hope that is in you. However, do so with gentleness and respect.

The hope that we have as believers is more than just an earthly optimism. Our hope is based off of the trust and understanding that our future and our salvation lies with Jesus Christ in heaven.
When we have hope, we are pointing our hearts to Jesus and saying, “You are the Savior. You are true love, the One who will take away our hurt and our pain. With You Lord, we can live eternally in happiness and joy.”
May we be prepared as Peter said, to explain the hope that lives inside us, and always remember how rich and glorious our inheritance is in Christ.
